The Remote Audio CALECXL3/5L Unbalanced Line Level Adapter XLR3F to TA5F brings a line-level XLR output into a Lectrosonics transmitter’s TA5 input.
A 22k resistor inline gives the transmitter more headroom with a line-level signal. The cable runs unbalanced over 18 in from an XLR3F to a TA5F, and it is compatible with Remote Audio’s BDS power system.
For a 3 ft run, Remote Audio makes the CALECXL3/5L36, and for a mic-level source, the CALECXL3/5M with a 1k resistor.
