The Remote Audio CAT5, a 100 ft CAT5e network cable, has a black jacket.
It connects network gear like any Ethernet cable. With a CAT5 balun (an adapter that sends video or audio over network cable) at each end, it also carries video and audio, as in a video assist setup. A CAT5e coupler joins two cables for a run longer than 100 ft.
