Radius Urchin Lavalier Windshields — For covering lavalier mics, placed on the outside of clothing with a clip or other fixture. Each Urchin comes with a lav foam and short-length synthetic fur cover for extra wind-noise attenuation. The Urchin & foams are perfect for interview situations when you must quickly capture audio and don’t need to hide the microphones discretely beneath clothing.
Urchin lav foams fit almost all small-sized lav mics, including Countryman B3, Sanken COS-11, DPA 4060, and DPA 6060. The fur covers are sized to firmly fit over the lav microphone. With the additional blue safety strap, you can secure microphones like the COS-11 to as small as the DPA 6060.
