Powerex PRO AA Rechargeable NiMH Batteries 2nd Gen (4-Pack)

Built for high-drain gear such as audio recorders and wireless microphones, the Powerex PRO AA 2nd Gen batteries are rechargeable 1.2 V nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) cells rated at 2700 mAh. Each pack holds four batteries in a clear plastic battery holder. They are made in Japan.

Low self-discharge lets a set wait in the kit between jobs: the batteries keep up to 60% of their charge after five years in storage. Each one can be recharged up to 500 times.

What’s New

The second generation improves on the first PRO AA in extreme temperatures and under heavy use. The cells work from −4 to 122 °F (−20 to 50 °C).

Good to Know

Charge them in a Powerex NiMH charger such as the MH-C980 or MH-C9000PRO. Use the four as a matched set, and never mix them with alkaline batteries, or with cells at a different charge, in the same device.
