Nikwax TX.Direct Spray-On Waterproofing
Nikwax TX.Direct Spray-On is a waterproofing spray, and this 150 ml bottle is the one Cinela supplies with their KELLY rain covers for windshields.
With a KELLY fitted, raindrops break up in the large cells of the foam and slide along the windshield’s fabric. For that to work, the windshield’s two outer fabrics need waterproofing, so water does not get into them. The spray goes on those two fabrics, the black and gray cover, and never on the foam, which would then hold water in its cells.
TX.Direct Spray-On is made for waterproof clothing, including Gore-Tex, Sympatex, and eVent fabrics. It is applied by hand from a pump bottle, with no aerosol, and it is PFAS-free and non-flammable.
