Lectrosonics PCA900 Printed Circuit Dipole Antenna
Built on a printed circuit board, the Lectrosonics PCA900 passive directional dipole antenna covers 825 to 1025 MHz with about 3.7 dB of gain.
Seen from above, its pattern is circular with a modest forward gain from the reflector behind the dipole elements. The board is FR4 fiberglass finished in black solder mask, for a slim profile and the ruggedness field work needs. Its BNC connector takes standard 50 ohm coaxial cable to a transmitter, receiver, or multicoupler. The antenna suits systems in the 902 to 928 MHz and 941 to 960 MHz ranges.
The supplied aluminum strap mounts the antenna on a wall or ceiling, horizontal or vertical, and is notched for clean bends. Plan each bend so it is made only once, since repeated bending can fracture the aluminum. For mobile use, an optional mounting block and threaded adapters fit mic stands, tripods, and lighting stands.
