Lectrosonics MCA5X TA5F to XLRM Adapter for Plug-On Transmitters

The Lectrosonics MCA5X connects a lavalier or headset mic with a TA5F plug, as wired for Lectrosonics belt-packs, to a UH or HM plug-on transmitter.

It turns the plug-on’s 4.5 V phantom power into the DC bias Lectrosonics electret mics need, and an internal Zener diode protects the mic from phantom power above 6 V. It suits Digital Hybrid (400 Series), 200 Series, and 100 Series plug-ons such as the UH400a.

Use it only on Lectrosonics UH and HM transmitters, not on the mic input of a mixer or a recorder. The nickel-plated steel housing is 2 in long and 0.75 in across.
