Lectrosonics LT Digital Hybrid Wireless Belt-Pack Transmitter
The Lectrosonics LT is a compact belt-pack transmitter that works with any Digital Hybrid Wireless receiver and with some receivers from other makers.
Run it as a one-touch transmitter with only the top-panel power switch, or open every setting through the side-panel buttons and LCD. The top switch can also be set for mute or talkback, and the LT responds to remote commands from the Lectrosonics RM remote or from smartphone apps that can send them. An IR port sets it up from an IR-equipped receiver, and a USB port takes firmware updates.
The servo bias input takes a mic or line signal, with gain set in 1 dB steps over a 44 dB range. A menu setting turns it into a 1 MΩ instrument input for guitars with passive pickups. The limiter cleanly handles peaks more than 30 dB above full modulation, so the gain can sit high for the best signal-to-noise ratio without overload.
Frequencies tune in 100 kHz or 25 kHz steps, for up to 3072 choices, and the output power is 50 or 100 mW. Compatibility modes let it work with older analog receivers, and the antenna is detachable for remote mounting.
Two AA batteries run it, or the optional LTBATELIM battery eliminator replaces the hinged battery door. The housing is machined from a solid aluminum billet and finished in ebENi, an ultra-hard black electroless nickel. The 26895 wire belt clip comes installed, and the BCSLEBN spring-loaded clip is an option. Sweat damages the transmitter, so wrap it or use the LTCVR silicone cover when it is worn on the body.
