K-Tek KSTGJRX Stingray Junior-X Audio Mixer Bag

The K-Tek KSTGJRX Stingray Junior-X is a compact mixer bag for a small recording package, built for mobility and quick setup.

Compatible Mixers

It works with the Sound Devices 833, 888, and 633, the Zaxcom Nova and Maxx, and the Zoom F4 and F8. It also fits the Tascam DR-680 MKII, the Sound Devices MixPre-10 series, and other mixers of a similar size. For more room around a Nova, the Small-X is the larger bag.

Build

The exterior is 1680D polyester with a water-repellent coating. Inside, a rigid vertical frame lets the bag stand on its own and leaves the mixer’s sides and bottom open for connectors and media. The kickstand is built in and folds flat against the back when you are not working at a table.

A bottom trap door and zippered side panels make battery swaps and cabling quick. The side pockets hold NP-1 batteries in cup adapters, and a front compartment behind a rigid panel expands or closes tight. Two threaded points on the frame (1/4-20 female and 3/8-16 male) take shark fin antennas and other accessories, and D-rings attach the bag to the K-Tek waist belt or the Stingray Harness.
