K-Tek KPCK18V Coiled Cable Kit for Mighty Boom KP18V
The K-Tek KPCK18V Coiled Cable Kit for Mighty Boom KP18V cables an 18 ft KP18V Mighty Boom pole with a coiled cable, no soldering needed.
Remove the pole’s headpiece and drop the cable through the top section. Plug its TA3 end into a KPCCR bottom module, sold separately, and attach the module to the bottom of the pole. A machined Delrin shell secures the cable to the TA3.
Connector and Cable
The top connector is K-Tek’s low-profile right-angle XLR female. It is built on a Neutrik connector and can be serviced. To change its angle, unthread the housing, turn it, and lock it again. Thicker gauge wire and aluminum shielding guard against RF interference. The kit is made in the USA.
In extreme weather, take the cable out of the pole. Removing the bottom module, or fitting the KPFT flow-through base, lets water drain through the tubes.
