The NP-50 is a unique new Lithium-Ion stubby NP1 Battery. It measures approximately half the height of an industry standard NP1 battery, providing sound recordists with a lightweight, space-saving solution with plenty of capacity at 50Wh.

Producing 50Wh, this stubby battery is a great alternative to using the regular sized NP-65. With identical width and depth dimensions, the NP-50 provides the same compatibility as the NP-65 / NP-75 batteries.

The stubby NP-50 and the still standing NP-35 are both compatible with Hawk-Woods NP1 chargers like the SL-1 and NP-ATM4.

Please be aware that US Federal regulations qualify certain lithium batteries as “Hazardous Materials”. This qualification carries with it an additional fee of $75 if said items are transported via aircraft. Additional fees for these items are also assessed if shipping internationally. This is a flat fee and will only apply once for shipments containing a qualifying item.

If shipping within the US you may avoid this fee by selecting standard ground shipping. Otherwise we will contact you with a final shipping quote upon receiving your order.

Due to manufacturer restrictions, we may not be able to ship some or all of these products outside of North America. At checkout, all shipping prices are calculated from the US. Orders to Canadian addresses may be shipped from our Toronto or Vancouver stores, with shipping costs adjusted (usually lower).
