Deity Connect Timecode Kit

Two BP-TRX units make up the Deity Connect Timecode Kit: paired, they form a single-channel 2.4 GHz digital wireless system, and each one also works as a recorder or a standalone timecode box.

Each BP-TRX records 24-bit, 48 kHz WAV files to a microSD card of up to 128 GB while it transmits (SanDisk cards are not compatible). Its internal timecode clock holds 0.2 ppm, so the two units stay in sync for the edit, and timecode in and out allows jam sync.

On their built-in rechargeable batteries the units run about 12 hours as a wireless system, 21 hours as recorders, and more than 25 hours as timecode boxes. When one unit works as the receiver, its record button starts the recorder in the actor’s transmitter, and it adjusts the transmitter’s settings remotely.

The kit suits a videographer who needs wireless for a sit-down interview one day and two recorders at a live event the next. It comes with two lavalier microphones and a timecode sync cable.
