Cinela PIANISSIMO AMBEO Windshield for Sennheiser AMBEO VR Mic

Made for the Sennheiser AMBEO VR Mic, the Cinela PIANISSIMO AMBEO is a windshield with a suspended cage.

It is a version of the PIANISSIMO, Cinela’s windshield for microphones shorter than 21 cm. Cinela released the PIANISSIMO in 2014 as the smaller sister of their PIANO. The egg-shaped cage is slightly elliptical in cross-section, a shape that behaves well acoustically and keeps wind noise down when the boom swings sideways. The cage is suspended independently of the microphone’s own suspension.

Fur and Shell

A 3D primary fabric covers the cage, and a synthetic fur goes over it for stronger wind, in short or long pile and in black, gray, or black and gray. The PIANI-SHELL, a polycarbonate case, holds the windshield with its fabric fitted.

Good to Know

Cinela’s 3 m Mogami extension for the AMBEO, the PIANI-AMBEO-EXT3, is sold separately. The microphone is not included.
