Cable Techniques MX-POWERSLED

The MX-POWERSLED by Cable Techniques is a snap-on “Battery Eliminator” with Hirose 4-pin connector for Sound Devices MixPre-3 and MixPre-6 portable recorders. It accepts a DC input range of 9-24V from high capacity rechargables like NP-1 or Smart Batteries and supplies the recorder with consistent regulated power. Eliminates the need for USB power or AA’s in an “over-the-shoulder” environment in the field = saves time, money and hassle.

With the MX-POWERSLED a MixPre Series recorder can be seamlessly integrated into a Bag Rig with wireless receivers etc. all powered by a single rechargeable via a portable DC Distribution system from the likes of Remote Audio, PSC, Audioroot, Sound Guys Solutions or a Battery Bud. The Hirose 4-pin connection provides a rock-solid secure connection and cabling options are readily available.

Please be aware that US Federal regulations qualify certain lithium batteries as “Hazardous Materials”. This qualification carries with it an additional fee of $75 if said items are transported via aircraft. Additional fees for these items are also assessed if shipping internationally. This is a flat fee and will only apply once for shipments containing a qualifying item.

If shipping within the US you may avoid this fee by selecting standard ground shipping. Otherwise we will contact you with a final shipping quote upon receiving your order.

Due to manufacturer restrictions, we may not be able to ship some or all of these products outside of North America. At checkout, all shipping prices are calculated from the US. Orders to Canadian addresses may be shipped from our Toronto or Vancouver stores, with shipping costs adjusted (usually lower).
