The Bubblebee Industries Windbubble 10-Pack puts ten Windbubbles of one size in every color Bubblebee makes, enough fur lav windscreens to dress a whole cast or stock a rental kit.

The Windbubble has an outer shell of Bubblebee’s multi-layer imitation fur around an empty core. Wind that enters the fur slows and loses its energy before it reaches the capsule, so the bubble of still air inside cuts wind noise without muffling dialogue. The low-sheen fur blends with skin and clothing.

An elastic opening between two small tabs on the back grips the microphone. Spread the opening, slide the capsule in from the side at a slight angle, then pull it back 2 to 3 mm from the inner mesh to make room for the dead air. Four sizes fit more than 50 lavalier models. Sizes 2 and 3 fit the same microphones: Size 3 has longer fur for more protection, and Size 2 has a lower profile. The Sizing tab lists the microphones each size fits. The Windbubble works with omnidirectional and directional lavs, and it fits over a Lav Concealer.

It handles light to moderate wind. Wash it gently by hand in lukewarm water with mild soap if needed, reshape the fur, and let it air dry.

Each pack holds three black, two white, two gray, one brown, one off-white, and one beige Windbubble, all in the size chosen, in cardboard packaging.
