Bubblebee Industries The Cub

The Bubblebee Industries Cub is a fur windshield made for the Sanken CUB-01, the miniature boundary and plant microphone.

It is shaped to the CUB-01’s flat body and slips over it on an elastic band. The dense multi-pile faux fur creates a zone of still air around the capsule: wind enters, loses its energy, and leaves without causing noise. It also cuts breath pops and handling noise, so it suits the CUB-01 on a table, as a boundary mic, or worn. It comes in black or gray with a metal storage tin. Brush out debris gently, hand wash it with mild soap if needed, and let it dry fully before storing it.
