The Bubblebee Industries Mic Hiding Kit for Sony ECM-V1 puts the tools for hiding that lavalier on talent into one case: a Lav Concealer molded for it, Invisible Lav Covers, and tapes.

The Sony ECM-V1 is the lav in Sony’s UWP-D21, UWP-D26, and UWP-D27 wireless kits. The kit works on fabric, on skin, or in hair, for a mic hidden in a collar, under a tie, or under a shirt, and it comes in black or white to suit the wardrobe.

The concealer’s soft rubber absorbs vibration and clothing rustle, and its metal fabric guard holds fabric away from the capsule. Clip it, tape it, or sew it into a costume. The Fur Outdoor covers keep wind off a mic hidden under clothing outdoors, and the Moleskin covers cut fabric rustle under close-fitting clothes. The transparent Invisible Lav Tape holds the mic and covers on skin or fabric, with a window that keeps glue off the capsule. The matte Invisible Skin Tape holds the cable to skin and takes makeup. Everything packs into the Mic Accessory Case, whose compartments keep each part in its place.

The kit lets a sound team try each method before buying the full-size packs, which Bubblebee sells separately as refills.
