Audioroot eSMART DUO Input Cable

The Audioroot eSMART DUO input cable is a user-installable harness that sets which power sources the DUO smart power distributor can take. It comes in four configurations that combine three inputs a sound bag already carries: Switchcraft-format smart batteries on TA4M, Audioroot smart battery cups, and USB-C Power Delivery adapters. Fitting a harness takes only a TX8 and a TX10 screwdriver.

A new DUO arrives with DUO-CAB-TT installed: two TA4M connectors on 8 cm leads for Switchcraft-format smart batteries. DUO-CAB-CC replaces both with Audioroot smart battery cups on 30 cm leads, mounting the batteries directly for a cleaner rig. DUO-CAB-TC pairs one TA4M connector (8 cm) with one smart battery cup (30 cm) for mixed setups. DUO-CAB-CU combines one smart battery cup with a USB-C PD input.

The USB-C PD input runs the DUO from a USB-C Power Delivery supply that offers at least a 15V profile. With a 20V/5A PPS (Programmable Power Supply) compatible supply, the DUO runs at 17.0V. Connected equipment then draws mainly from USB-C, and the 16.8V lithium-ion battery stays in reserve. If USB-C power drops, the DUO switches to the battery without interruption. Recommended PPS supplies include the SIIG AC-PW1N11-S1, Baseus CCDK100UE, UGREEN X764, and Anker 250W Prime charger A2345. The Verbatim 32201 65W charger cannot deliver 17V in PPS mode and is not recommended.
