Sound Devices A10-RX Two-Channel Receiver
The Sound Devices A10-RX is a two-channel digital wireless receiver for one or two A10-TX or A20-Mini transmitters, with two complete RF receivers on each channel.
This design is Sound Devices’ Advanced Digital Diversity topology. Audio runs 20 Hz to 20 kHz with 2 ms of latency in Standard modulation, or 3.9 ms in the Long Range mode, which extends transmission distance.
Outputs and Mounting
Each channel outputs analog line level or AES3 digital audio. This version is the A10-RX-SL, which slots into a Uni slot or SuperSlot through a 25-pin D-type connector. Swapping its A-SL adapter for the A-XLR adapter makes it a stand-alone receiver with XLR outputs and Hirose power.
With the A-15PIN adapter it fits select Sony camcorders, passing two channels of digital audio inside the camera with no external cables.
Good to Know
The US model tunes from 470 to 608 MHz in 25 kHz steps. It runs on 6 to 18 VDC, drawing about 3 W with one receiver active and 4.4 W with two.
