Fostex PD-6 Preventative Maintenance Program

After years servicing the Fostex portable DAT's, and then Trew Audio's popular Preventative Maintenance program for the PD-4, we have developed a similar program for your Fostex PD-6 Nonlinear Recorder. Though the PD-6 has been remarkably reliable, as the machines acquire hours there are certain items that should be addressed to increase reliability.

Through past experience with Fostex's PD-4's (for which we are renowned), and now with years of servicing the PD-6, we have flagged a series of items we feel should be serviced, greatly reducing the chances of a failure.

The PD-6's that have received our Preventative Maintenance service have experienced no failures in the areas addressed, so we are now ready to offer the plan to the rest of the PD-6 owners.

The mechanical securing features of this service are good for the life of the machine.
