Rycote Stickies, Undercovers & Overcovers
Stickies
Stickies are tiny, disposable, pre-cut, double-sided adhesive pads for mounting a lav microphone. The adhesive material is both safe and effective for use on skin as well as clothing. A pack of Stickies includes 3 pads of 10 (total of 30) peel and press Stickies. The microphone is simply pressed onto the Stickie which is then pressed onto the skin or clothing.
Undercovers
Undercovers continue the system with 30 soft fabric pads that are the same shape and size as the sticky.
These are placed over the mic and pressed against the outer edges of the stickie to provide a smooth barrier
for reducing clothing rustle The packet includes 30 Undercovers, and 30 stickies.
Overcovers
Overcovers are used in place of the Undercovers to provide wind protection. This is accomplished with a
1 inch furry disk that is applied over the microphone and pressed onto the Stickie adhesive. Once applied
the disk helps to prevent wind noise. Each pack includes 2 black, 2 white, and 2 gray furry Overcovers with
30 Stickies. The Overcovers may be re-used multiple times before disposing.
