Redwood Digital Adds Third Genex GX8000

The Bay Area's REDWOOD DIGITAL, has taken delivery of their third GENEX GX8000 MO Disk Recorder, purchased from TREW AUDIO in Nashville.

The machines are used daily for high-resolution mixes at 24-Bits/88.2kHZ which is becoming the new standard for master recording.   Chained together the machines can record up to 24 tracks of high-resolution digital audio on 2.6 GB Magneto Optical Disks, with a choice of six sampling rates.

Chief Engineer, John Nowland, was first impressed with the sound and features of the GENEX machines at Georgetown Mastering in Nashville where Denny Purcell has been using the Genex machines for surround sound mixes. Purcell's machines also came from TREW AUDIO, which is Nashville's exclusive GENEX dealer.
