This new robust 5-section boompole from Lightwave is the first really innovative design in boompoles in several years. The unique design is accomplished with the use of no metal components which reduces weight and aids in keeping the pole clean from accumulated build up often found with metal boompoles. The locking system uses a triple cam locking system. No threads are involved, which can often add to residue and thus potential sticking. When cleaning is needed, the entire locking mechanism can be stripped down for individual component cleaning. Each section is made of 100% carbon fiber for strength with maximum reduced weight.

The pole can be supplied with an internal coiled cable as an option. The coiled cable & connectors have all been chosen for their high quality. At present there is only a straight exit XLR output.
