The US office of Trew Audio has grown into a new facility!

Since 1981, each of the five times that we moved, we've wondered how we had managed in the previous space and wondered what on earth we would do with what seemed like the vast space of the new.

Now, in 2005, our most recent move has doubled the size of our facility. While we still wonder how we managed so long in the previous space, we will no longer be surprised as we fill in the new. Now a company of 24 strong, the first five things we did after our move were to add positions in Marketing, I.T., Sales, Fabrication, and Shipping - all to better inform you and to better deliver what you want.

For those who have visited our store before, we are still in the same neighborhood, on the same street. But when you visit the new store, allow a little extra time for the tour: There are more people to meet and the walk takes a good bit longer. We have a nice large showroom for displaying all of the latest gear in a working setup. You can check out the latest wireless systems, make a listening comparison of different microphones and headphones, test the new non-linear recorders, etc. You can even try your hand on our antique - but fully functional - Mole-Richardson Perambulators (microphone booms ). Pull a chair up to our internet cafe to check your email or browse our website while relaxing with a cup of coffee. Behind the scenes we have an improved fabrications facility, private meeting rooms, increased bench space for the service department, more area for processing and shipping your orders, an improved photo stage for our website production, and an additional office for creating publications (such as this issue of "The Mixer").

Needless to say, we like our new home and we think you will too. Whether you visit us in person, or by telephone, or through the internet, we feel our new facility will improve the quality of service we can provide you.

For those who have been with us along the way, thank you. If you are new to Trew Audio, we hope you'll soon understand what those before you have found: our growth is the result of many people working diligently to enhance the careers of the sound professionals we serve. And while adapting to change is part of what we do well - whether it be changes in trends and technology, or simply the need to have more space - the fuel that powers Trew Audio remains unchanged: our never ending passion for Sound.
