Rob Milner is one of our fresh new faces at Trew Audio. He
joined our company at the end of 2004.
Like Rob Rightmyer, Rob Milner has a degree in Recording Arts from Full Sail -- but prior to that he already had a solid foundation in electronics. Rob was an Electronics Technician in the U.S. Navy where he was trained in Radar and Aircraft Navigation Systems. While in the Navy, Rob also learned complex signal flow and component level troubleshooting - just the kind of experience that comes in handy working with today's complex audio gear!
Since graduating from Full Sail, Rob has worked as an Audio/Visual Technician. Although most of his prior audio experience was in music production and studio recording, Rob has welcomed the shift into location sound recording for film and television. "I'm surprised two similar worlds could be so different!" he admits.
As it is for all audio professionals, learning the endless amounts of gear has been a challenge and continues to be an exciting experience for Rob. As he puts it, "I am honored to be a part of Trew Audio. I can't wait to get my hands and ears into everything and pass along the information! I look forward to serving our customers and working alongside this unique staff for a long time to come."
We're very glad to have him on board.
