nice, Thanks for the quick response
This is amazing. It makes up for my biggest gripe with the Sound Devices, stuff, a tiny screen that can be hard to read. I wonder if you know if this will interface with an iPad? I could see that being on a cart as the display and some truly cool interaction capabilities. Maybe a Netbook? The possibilities are intriguing. Can you also add metadata information to the file while recording from Wave Agent? Kind of like Metacorder?
Matt,
You can adjust Metadata on past takes, I’m unsure if you can change info on the take currently in record. I’ll post again when I have an answer.

Ok here’s the scoop on your questions Matt. First, Wave Agent is currently not iPad compatible. Sound Devices has discussed this as a future upgrade, but they would essentially need to write for an entirely new operating system. Secondly, you cannot currently edit Metadata information while in record. What you can do is copy 788T files to your HD and edit them while in meter mode for your current recordings. Toggle between live metering and prerecorded editing is very simple. Live Wave Agent metadata editing may be in the future, but Sound Devices states they are not even in Beta Testing for this function yet. It is my experience, they will follow through though.
